I removed all rear badges, the side TURBO badges, and the upper rubber strips. I used a vareity of methods to remove the badges, some better than others. The best was a hair dryer and dental floss.
Two marks can be left after a badge is removed. 1. a ghost image of the emblem due to fading paint; 2. a crusty petrified piece of 13 year old mounting tape.
Nothing can be done about the ghost image, the paint fades, but not under the emblem. Wax builds up under the edges of the emplems also, and is hard to remove. The petrifies mounting tape is also a problem. I used everything to get the stuff off, all failed. vaseline worked best, but still failed. I got some paint prep urathane remover from a body shop. I wiped it on, wiped it off, and the old tape and was came right off. Quickly wash the area with soap and water, and wax it. No paint damage and a clean look.
Good luck
