The rear fogs were eliminated by incorporating them into the rear tailights. On the hatchbacks, I know for sure the harness had a variation that starts just ahead of the hatchback and goes into the hatch, effectively wiring the hatchback lights into the taillights.
So I would follow the taillight harness forward to it's next connector to the vehicle harness and then probe that connector for a pin that goes hot with the fog light switch on. You could then disconnect the taillights that are really foglights and separately wire them to the foglight switch. I would also put in single pole 50w halogen bulbs in those tailight positions that are now fogs.
Alternatively, just get another foglight switch for the rear fogs and wire it with a relay and separate fused power wires from the battery to what will become the rear integrated fogs. Or else just buy a Hella single red fog light (they come with a 50w halogen bulb) and bolt it under the left or right rear bumper per your local regulations and wire it appropriately.
