Ok, I have been shopping for an alarm for my '92 900T 3 dr. What I want is basically a duplication of the Saabguard (Alpine) alarm in my other 900. I will add a door lock motor to the driver's door and wire it up. I do not want the 'all in one' alarm with siren as the wiring harness in the Saab is under the rear seat. I want a separate deal (brain-back seat/siren-under hood). I will install it myself. I do not want to pay a ton of money. It seems that the 'crime guard' 328i3 is best suited. Does any one use this? Crutchfield has it for 100.00. If anyone DOES use it or one like it, can I use it with the delay interior light and trunk light to monitor the doors? Will it actuate the door lock module easily? Any other opinions or comments welcome.
