oops! My tranny needed to be replaced so I decided to rebuild the whole car, from headliner to exhaust shields. Was a great project!! I became quite the mechanic with the help from many on this board (gary at swedish dynamics, Dave at spg 9, Mike Stone, Kevin K, ChrisX. Don't know exactly the power I am making never put it on a dyno yet. But I imagine 180-190 HP the CIS system really limits addtional HP. You can tweak alittle but still limited, The cam grind and Porting cost about $500, turbo upgrade $600, APC box $250, etc. The real fun was redoing the entire suspension, shocks springs, sway bar, bushings. MAn what a difference. I had the car on radar doing about 121-123 mph (friend is a cop)on a closed road. Stable as a rock with power to spare. Boy, these eight valves are fun.
