Both have to come out....should at least do seals on slave...all that work
gone if slave wears later....
I did not have problem with rear crank oil seal....requires removal of flywheel....flywheel has bolts whose threads would need cleaning and then coated with thread seal....flywheel mounting bolt holes are bored ALL THE WAY into engine oil cavity...no sealing of threads means big leak....crank seal is however easy to change....do not forget clutch shaft seal which is located under the slave unit....that's the one that is prone to trans oil leakage...tough to pry out though....small with metal/rubber cage construction...but really need that one....
