Extractors for 85 900t and boost problem

Are there extractors (headers) available for 8v 85 model 900t? (ie: between the cylinder head and the turbo)
My turbo cuts out everytime at just over 3000 rpm (without fail!) I've narrowed it down to the wastegate opening but why? Is it likely to be the knock sensor? If so, I cannot here the engine pinging. Also, what does the APC need an engine speed sensor for? Car is also very rough at idle. Checked for air leaks but cannot find any.
