Saab chase on TV!

So I'm wondering if I was the only person to see this on TV last night! I was flicking around during a commercial and happened upon a show called 'Getting A Ticket In America'. I got there just in time! A cop had just pulled over what looked to be an ~'87 900S. It looked like it was in decent shape. The cop was talking to the driver and the driver mentioned that his license was suspended. The cop opened the door and asked the driver to step out. It was a black man in his late twenties I suspect. I think that the cop was about to cuff him when the driver slipped him and took off, then doubled back - got in the car and took off! So here we are going 70mph on a freeway! The cop can easily keep up at this speed until the Saab makes a frantic swerve to the right to go onto an on-ramp. The whole time I'm yelling - "Look at that handling!" with a big grin on my face.
Now apparently what happened was that during this break to the right the Saab barely missed some scrap metal in the median. Unfortunately for the cop, he hit it with his left front. So for the rest of the chase he had a semi-flat tire. Hearing that there were no other units within miles of the pursuit the cop decided to end the chase because he would not be able to go on much longer. So I think that they were going around 50 or 60 and the cop pulls up along the Saab on the left and the Saab veers into him. The Saab ends up getting turned around so that the cop car is basically t-boning it and this whole car mess slides for a good hundred yards in this fashion until the Saab is smashed into a telephone pole! Then, amazingly enough, the driver jumps out of the Saab and runs like it's no big thing! It was hilarious! I really wish that I had gotten it on tape. Not that this sets a good example for Saabers but I thought I'd share. I was hoping that someone else had seen it too!
