900's road-holding always that bad?

Hi,
I own my first Saab (900i '91) for a short while now, and I find its
road-holding rather disappointing. Even weak sidewinds make it drift on the
road. My former tiny '85 Renault 5 wreck did it better.
My Saab has had a total check up, and an expert mecanic did an extensive
alignment, balancing etc. No improvement.
So I'm asking you people: Is a Saab 900i known for it's bad road-holding?
And if not, what can I do more to fix this problem?
Please help me, I ran out of solutions and ideas.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my crummy English (I'm dutch)
Greetings, Charles
