today, in fact. I used a flat paint scraper wrapped with cloth to protect the paint. Then a flat screwdriver to pry it up. Then gouged the paint as the emblem lifted up and the two pins broke and the back side of the emblem scored the paint. Got the two broken pins out with a pair of pliers. The new one went in fine - I did go ahead and wax the paint under the emblem before putting the new one one, in keeping with my anal retentive nature. I can't tell you how to avoid the type of gouge I got (actually a barely noticeable semicircle right at the edge of the emblem) except be very careful!
