check for power to the fuse holder...it should only have power on one side.
If not, there is another problem upline, but probably the fuse holder is tango uniform.
You can remove the fuse box and rewire the radio mem/interior load to another vacant socket, I think there are probably 5 or six extras that don't have metal in them or if you can find an unused one you're golden...get a couple terminals or a fuse socket from your dealer, there ARE lists of such bits, probably on the fiche 'EPC Parts List' somewhere around 'Electrical, connector' or 'Wiring and fuses - Connector housing etc-'
I picked up a couple printouts of the F1975 90086 and F1976 90086 fiches for 1987 900's that, of course, don't have fuse holders on them, but you might start there.
