Last night my gear selection all went horribly wrong !
Every time I try and select first and second gear,or reverse, the whole central mechanism seems to wobble and move (ie the ignition key moves left for first & second, and right each time I try and select reverse) but then if I secure the unit by holding the ignition key still in the middle I can select the gears no problem.(apart from needing four arms to drive as well :) ) Is there some sort of securing bracket that should hold the whole mechanism still?
Is this the kind of job I should attempt myself, has anyone heard of this happening before ?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Andy
