I unplugged the solenoid and then i ran at base boost. The wastegate seems to move alright by hand. The hoses are in the right place from the solenoid. The odd thing is that sometimes it seems to back the boost off itself..i'm not sure if it's just my imagination. Could this mean it's something electronic that might be loose? Remember, this worked before the gearbox swap so i dont think anything suddenly went bad. Something might have been disturbed though.
When I start up the car now, i hear a pretty significant hiss. This might be a vacuum leak and related to the problem. I cant pinpoint where it's coming from yet. All the vacuum lines look OK. I will keep trying, in the mean time, besides the vacuum leak what else could this be?
The only thing I havent gotten to look at yet is the pressure transducer.
Thanks guys, i appreciate the help.
