The keyless entry 'option' can be added fairly easily. You need to make 2 'y' shaped harnesses with 1 female spade and 2 male spades. Also 2 jumpers with male spade on one end and frmale on the other. Make them 4-6" long. Remove the switch from the driver's door. Get a used lock motor. Remove the 3 pin plug housing from the switch. Remove the 2 pin housing from the motor and replace it with the the 3 pin housing using the first 2 places (this way, all you have to do is plug it in to the existing wire in the door). On the lock relay what you need to do is use the jumpers to connect the positions 1 and 2 on the plug to the pins on the relay that actuate the motors. Connect up ground and power (the other 2 jumpers). Verify that the motor runs the right direction by grounding pin 1 then 2 to lock and unlock the doors. If it is correct, fine if not, reverse teh legs of the y to the plug positions 1 and 2. Now the hard part... running 2 wires to the alarm unit from pins one and 2 of the lock relay. I fished the wires through the harness conduit to the back. Usually, the alarm units supply a negative pulse which they tell you to connect to a relay to actuate the locks. This is only if the unit is DIRECTLY actuating the door motors which it is not doing in the Saab. If indeed it gives a ground pulse (verify with DMM), hook it up and verify operation.
