As I was driving this car home from Philly lastnight the up shift light kept coming on at different times in 5th gear. What is the deal? Bad ground somewhere. I just bought the car from someone who I am unsure of why they had it in the first place. The car has been well maintained over it's life and garaged kept for most of it's years. Lots of work has been done to this car within the past 2 to 3 years, speculation here, to include the turbo being replaced along with the whole exhaust system. It has some little things wrong with it, up shift light, reverse gear pin, clutch pedal worn, headliner, dash, ac inop, etc. Lots of little things. This car had been sitting for most of a year, what I was told by the sellers, and even had cob webs on the engine. I live in Baltimore so I was worried by driving the car back from Philly BUT to my surprise the car drove better than by daily driver, 87 900S!!! I am really beginning to wonder about the car??? Is there a way to trace the Vin and get some info on the previous owners? I only paid $800 for the car and really feel I got a deal. I don't have the car on the road yet, no extra $ to do tune up and whatever else it needs to pass MD inspection. I will be asking alot of questions over the next few weeks as I find more little things wrong. Thanks for the ear and help on the up shift light.
