My major complaint is longevity - they just seem to wear out quickly. Beyond that, they aren't as good conductors as higher quality wires - they just don't conduct as much spark energy from one end to the other, which generally results in poor running. And, finally, their EMI shielding, if they have any, sucks. Honestly, it probably all comes down to poor insulation.
Don't get me wrong - you can do a lot worse than Bosch wires. A lot. But considering the better made, longer lasting, and better performing Bougicords are only a few bucks more, they're worth it. Personally, I've switched entirely to Magnecor wires, but they are pricey. The way I look at it, though, is that the entire car is made of Bosch components but Saab chose Bougicord for the OEM wiring... it wasn't a price break, I'm sure, 'cause the Bougis cost more, so Saab must have known something that we can only speculate about... :)
