Was the front suspension checked by a Saab specialist? There are a lot who do not work on Saabs and therefore do not know how to check Saab ball joints. One of my '92's was squirrely over road heaves. It turned out to be an upper ball joint and a tie rod end. I replaced all 4 ball joints and both tie rod ends. It is now stable as a rock. do not assume that any suspension shop will know how to check the ball joints. If you do not do it yourself with the procedure, bring it with you to the shop and make sure they follow it. I am sure that the 65 series tires would not make than much of a difference though are a bit narrower. Kevin is right check the sway bushes and as well the shock bushes. Make sure it is aligned correctly as well. I have had no luck except at a Saab dealer or indie getting a C900 aligned.
