I have the same problem you have, I just dont pull up so far but in the summer i have the sunroof open so thats fine. Anyway, last year i was trying to sell my 86 900T because i was tired of it's high-cost and frequent repairs it needed as a poor student. I looked for MK2 GTi's and Jetta GLi's. No 8 valves for me! I ended up finding my 86 SPG for $750 so that sealed that deal, i didnt even have to sell the other car first! Anyway, i love VW's too..my friend have had them. I like the Corrados ALOT. They would be the nicest to go to after having a 900T because you can tweak the supercharger like a turbo(and not worry about the gearbox as much). That has more potential than the N/A engines of the other cars i assume. A female friend of mine is having a heavily modded G60 put into her Cabriolet... VROOM.
