High Idle after Tune up

I'm the original owner of this beauty with 60,000 miles on her. I'm ready to wring my mechanics neck,please help
before I do. At 30,000 mi I had a tune up and had the typical work done. After picking up the car it idled horribly,no
vacuum problems either. I brought her back and told him to put my old stuff back in and she ran beautifully to 60,000
miles. Just had a tune up with a different mechanic and the exact same problem is happening. No vacuum problems,
he called Saab and they sent over a new RPM sensor or adjuster. The rough idle stopped but now she idles at
900-1000 rpms and sometimes accelerates to 1500 while idling. I'll drive a bit more, stop and it will idle back to 1000
and then later to 1500. I'm sure this isn't normal. Please email me with solutions and if you know of a good Saab
mechanic on Long Island,NY,bless you!
