Been There, Some thoughts on the battery

I have that battery in my '92TC. If you use the alarm feature, the engine fans can trigger the kill function. Annoying to keep resetting the clock & re coding the stereo. I got the battery as an extra security as I leave my convetible top down when I park the car.
If you don't use the security or have the patience to wait for the fans to finish their bit, then the battery is very satisfactory.
I also got it as I have a bad brake light switch that allows the brake lights to stay on. When the car was at the mechanic to get the switched replaced (among other things) they left the brake lights on & "killed" the battery. After 2 weeks with nothing done to the car I took it back & surprize a 'dead' battery. Second try it started right up - George pissed at mechanic, but happy with Sears Security Battery.
The 'remote' for the battery is an old garage door opener remote. It can be programmed to operate your Sears garage door opener too! Bonus.
Go For It!
