Even if you did, make sure it's still seated properly. Pull the clutch cover and see how high the oil source is. Did you remove the flywheel? If so, did you use thread sealer on the bolts? As long as your hydraulics work, just use the seat and a stick/snow brush, or a helper to hold the pedal down while inserting the spacer wire.
