I twisted one off. Soak them with kroil or something and be very gentle with this. If it is really stuck, use a bit of heat and ease off the nut. If it is really bad, die grind off a corner of the nut and knock it off with a chisel and get a new nut. If you twist the stud off, it is a new lower control arm or a creative weld job. ball joint spreader or 'pickle fork' is a cheap addition to your tool supply. When you put it back together slather the through bolts with grease to make it easy the next time too (think positive). I keep a 'crayon' of anti sieze in my toolbox to put on any threads I come in contact with. All get a tiny bit upon reassembly. While you are there, the lower shock bushes may as well be replaced. They are about 3.00 off the web and 6 at the dealer. You will need 2.
