If you are carefull this is a job you can do yourself. The Townsend site has directions. My 15 yr old son and I did it on our 90 900s from the top, we borrowed a cut down socket from an indie. The pulley bolt can be removed with a Craftsman 1/2 in breaker bar wedged against the side of the head and the starter spun. You do not need a puller to get the pulley out it will come with hand pressure. We removed the water pump to get more clearence and it was worth the time and new gasket. Use some (Indian Head) gasket shellac around the outside of thd new seal to keep it from spinning and clean the pulley hub with a pot scrubber. While you are in there make sure you replace the oil pump O ring seal, an extra hour at most, it's probably leaking. Pack the gears with petroleum jelly to prime it. OTOH if you can find someone to do it for $250-300 it might be worth it. An experienced SAAB Tech will be able to tell if you should replace the pulley as the rubber damping medium degrades over time and under oil. The pulley is about $150
