Can you believe it? I ordered a new sofa, and right after the guys bring it into my house, they slam into my car with their truck, pushing it out into the middle of the street. They hit on the passenger side, right at the door seam with the rear quarter panel. The door is sort of pulled away from the car, but it is still holding shut, and the rear quarter is narled from the top of the wheel well with both side windows blown out. The sheet metal is literally ripped right open. There is about a three inch gap between the outer door and the inner door--you can look right down and see the window motor, etc. Basically, it looks pretty bad, but I am not sure if the frame is bent or not, maybe just mostly cosmetic????
Anyway, anyone know a good body shop in the Boston area? Also, are there things I should make sure they check and repair while putting the car back together--since it is a convertible, I assume that the spot it was hit is a real weak spot. Any info and suggestions--even consolations--are much appreciated.
