They're just pieces of metal bent to fit.
How about using some spring steel bent to fit? If you have an old outboard recoil starter or lawnmower engine recoil starter around take it apart and get some of the spring steel about 1/4" to 3/8" wide. Anneal about a foot of it and it can be easily bent to fit the hole in the car and the hole in the deflector. After it's bent to shape, heat it up again and quench it in oil and check for springiness...you shouldn't be able to bend it without great difficulty...if you can still bend it reheat it and quench it in water.
You can paint it or not, aluminum anodizing with a battery and a piece of tinfoil/TV dinner tray and some sulphuric acid electrolyte is always an option....
