I am not an expert but I have listened to many car stereos. I don't have much expierence with Alpine so I can't comment there. But I do own JL subs and Pheonix Gold Amps. I really like the JL W3 subs, they sound very good, great deep bass and a pretty good SQ. I have 1000Watts pushing 2 W3 subs. I also have a Pheonix Gold XS2500. It puts out 125X2 to my MB Quart speakers. This amp has been flawless and has very clean sound. Any of those companies you listed are very good. Every company has their speciality so many car stereo fanatics mix and match companies' products.
I hope my words of advice have helped.
Later,
Floyd
