Dylan,
Another thing you might check: There's a little gold-colored gizmo that looks like a flying saucer on the throttle body. With the engine shut off, open the throttle butterfly by twisting it, and the plunger in this dashpot will spring out. Then, when you release the throttle, it rests against this plunger and slowly sinks back to the fully closed position. It should take 3 to 5 seconds for this action to take place. You can hear a click (throttle closed sensor) when the throttle fully closes, so open the throttle, release it, and count "one potato, two potato...".
If the throttle clicks shut in less than a second, you can try adjusting this dashpot (turn it in or out, should be fairly obvious). If the inner diaphram has failed on it, though, you'll need to replace it. It's one of those tiny Saab parts that costs too much at the dealerships -- I think I paid $85 for mine a couple of years ago, before I found SaabNet. One of the sponsors here might carry it.
Good luck.
