Fuel pressure cutout is calibrated to 14.5 psi and can be raised. It's under the left side of the dash. It has a diaphram tensioning screw in the center and can be reached by unscrewing the left floor heater vent and reaching up to it with a screwdriver attachment on a ratchet wrench (90-degree approach to the screw needed unless remove dash).
I turned the screw a little more than two revolutions and checked the cutout with a pressure guage on the vac line to the transducer, which is shared by the cutoff switch. Raised it to 18 psi, now no problems.
