excuse me if i'm jumbled (been up for like 18 hours---test)

buuuuuut. taking the backrest of the back seat out is very easy, contrary to popular belief. first take of the wire clip you are talking about, i think it's for accident retention, perhaps the backseat will crack in half and fly away w/out the clips so i'd reccomemnd putting them back in place after the change over. use needle noses or whatever you see fit to dissasemble. now that you've go that removed, take your pliers and grab the black disk in between the seatback and the car that goes around the rod on the seat. pull this off of the rod however you see fit. the discs are fairly resilient. the removal of these leaves room to move. now it's cake, simply slide the seat back over half of an inch to and inch over the notched part of the rod and remove. do the same on the other side. most people told me to use excessive force, but i didn't find it nessecary in my approach. ahhh, swedish ingenuity.
