Tranny Drain Plug Removal (AGAIN...sigh)

I hate to post this again after the exhaustive discussion recently on the topic, but I'm still unable to remove the tranny oil drain plug on my '89 900S. I have concluded (99% certain) that the plug requires a 12mm hex bit to be removed. The 3/8" square plug does not fit, and it looks to me very much like a 12mm bit would.
Problem is...... WHERE THE HECK can I get one of these things?
I've called hardware stores all over Houston, and nobody has 12mm bits. Some said they did, but when I got there, they only had 12mm SOCKETS (even though I explicitly told them I didn't want a socket, but the reverse) Allen key sets seem to only go as big as 10mm, and I doubt I'd have the torque to get the plug out with one of those anyhow. I've seen ratchet bits made for brakes, but they only go as large as 3/8", and haven't seen any in metric.
I called the dealer. They said they don't sell tools... o...k... so if anyone has a clue as to where I could find the tool needed to remove the bloody thing, I'd be much obliged. Hell, if anybody has a spare one, I'll buy it off you. I just want to change my oil.
Cheers,
'Roo
