If SAAB Built a Lawnmower:
We could buy one new for 500 dollars but it would contain 20,000 dollars worth of parts.
The self-propelled feature would be very delicate and break constantly.
The Swedish steel blade could crush stone but be completely useless for cutting grass.
Would last for 20 years but start only half the time.
Handle great in deep snow.
Inspire a cult following of crazed enthusiasts, all with parts mowers on blocks in the side yard.
Have an owner's BB service where sage, experienced "gurus" would argue constantly with each other over proper blade height.
Suffer from "turbo lag."
:)
