Part Number DP2291 (their part number) DOESN'T fit >87 900T with vented rotors. Really irritating because I had bought these pads in May of 00 from a shop in San Fernando CA that is now out of business.

I faxed in a xerox of the EBC pad and the Axxis Metalmaster pad back to EBC who BTW offered to refund what I paid for the DP2291 pads, but I decided to try to modify the EBC pad back to fit using the metalmaster pad as a template. I figure two holes need to be enlarged and slightly elongated for the U-shaped pin and a crescent-shaped piece of material removed from the top edge of the EBC pad to fit the antivibration spring. BTW, the pad material for the GreenStuff looked suspiciously REAL similar to the material on the metalmaster pads.

I'll report back on the friction characteristics of the GreenStuff; I'm a little worried because I read a rocket from a guy who had fitted GreenStuff pads to a Honda and didn't notice any difference in braking but had locked up his brakes on emergency stops several times...rated the pads 1 on a scale of 1 to 5. Maybe he didn't know how to threshold brake, maybe something else was wrong, but I'm going to be careful!
