I'm posting this again because i think my last post kind of got lost among others.. sorry folks.
I R&R my dashboard and labeled all of the connectors. It was a pretty simple process and I put everything back the way I found it. I didnt disconnect any vacuum lines, instead i just removed the big vacuum connector off of the back of the selctor switch. I made sure no vacuum lines were crushed or anything. I have checked all the wiring and it's how it's supposed to be. Here's the problem, I dont ever get any center vent air, and when switch is on "floor" setting, i get just about nothing from the floor and all of the air from the side and top vents. I have tried playing with the switch with the vacuum connector off and on. It seems to make no differnce (which it should). At one point, I was about to give up and asked my girlfriend's father who is an excellent mechanic to take a look at it. 2 seconds on looking, he touched something, turned it on and it worked fine! He said "the vaccum plug wasnt on all the way" I thought i had it on, but i assumed i just didnt(i did have the metal clip on afterall). I put the facia back on and didnt test it again(DOH!). When going home that night, i got in the car and it didnt work again.

So i checked the big vacuum plug and it's on there and it cant go on any more. What's the deal? Is there a big leak from that plug that i dont know about? I assume when it's on, this is what acuates the "doors" on the vents to work the center vent, etc. It is acting as though the plugs is not on at all. Please help. thanks.
