1985 900 S 8V 5 Speed.
Last night leaving work, I released the ebrake and the car would not move, unless I gave it a lot of gas. I whacked the calipers and every thing was ok. I sprayed silicone lube into the spring near where the ebrake cable attaches to the caliper. This morning, and at lunch, the same thing happed.
The brakes are not hard to release, i just give a slight tug to the passenger side caliper and that's it, until I set the parking brake.
What now, I am not in the $$$ to do a complete brake job yet. The pads look "fair". Maybe another 5K on them. I really want to replace the rotors, calipers, pads, and brake lines. I already had a new MC installed, about a week ago.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
