I've got a problem with my stereo's lockout security code.

I stored the convertible the past 3 winters and each year the battery is dead in the spring. This of course causes the radio to ask for you to input the security code in to unlock the radio.

I have had the wonderful luck of inverting the final two numbers last and now this year. Once you screw it up it locks until the computer resets.

I was told that by disconnecting the battery and then after reconnecting it, to let the car idle for 60 minutes and then the computer would tell the radio to ask again for the code, but it didn't work.

Does anyone know how to get the radio to offer up the option to enter the code again?

Any help would be appreciated.
