I do not believe the SEs had SPG suspension... something about it not being a good match with the convertible's extra weight. You can check by removing a wheel (front is best) and looking for a gold and/or silver paint mark on the spring, usually towards the top/middle area.
The shocks are independent of the springs, and you could theoretically replace whatever you've got with SPG variety ones. The SPG shocks are actually a little softer than the stock ones, IIRC, as they are designed to work with the stiffer springs. As such, you may not want to.
Personally, if you're in the market, I would consider looking at Spax or Koni adjustables, as they will allow you to tailor the ride to your liking. This is, of course, if you're not happy with how it rides now! :)
