88 SPG. I understand that it's likely that's a sympton of a failing clutch, however, two things make me wonder. When I start out in the morning i.e. cool engine, the pedal is normal and has moderate pressure. It's after I'm in traffic that the pedal rises, loses play, and is harder to push (pobably 'cause it's heating up right?). Also, just 20,000 miles ago, the previous owner had a new tranny put in and the worksheet with a laundry list of things done and things that need to be done. doesn't mention the clutch.
