if you really want better lights, get european code headlights. They are much brighter where it needs to be brighter. used - Saab Depot (canada), Saabsavior, new - daniel stern lighting and others.
You already have the latest spec suspension/brakes on your 88. To make more power is to make it breath easier (cams, exhaust, intake porting, k&n filter). End result is a lot of money for little help. If you want performance tart up the 'S' and sell it to buy a 'T'. There are a lot more options to improving a force fed Saab. Stay with OEM/OEQ cap and rotor (bosch), magnecor wires will last a long time (any performance claims would be wasted on an NA motor, so I won't do it). If the wires/plugs/cap/rotor are in need of replacing, the car probably won't produce any more power when you replace them, but it may run smoother and produce what it is capable of.
