After all the normal stuff, we went a little nuts on my first enduro Saab.
We removed lots of tar like noise proofing. Replaced the side and rear glass with Lexan. We cut the insides out of the doors and replaced the panels. We cut the braces from under the hood and trunk lid. Removed the power steering pump and connected the two rack hoses together. Manual steering is not that bad once you get out of the parking lot. We had a measuring bucket in the garage for misc. parts: horns, door locks and motors, extra wireing harness, ect. This car was street legal. What a difference the weight made.
