Did the grill job...LOVE IT! (Easy 2!) Posted by JustinHiFi [Email] (#829) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JustinHiFi) on Thu, 5 Apr 2001 09:14:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just performed adding the "expanded metal" mesh to the rear of my grill. I also painted the grill black to match my car. Dam it looks bad a$$!! All of my friends, (even John with a ford Tauras) want me to do it to their cars! Probably will leave that up to them b/c, one- I don't scrw it up, two- Don;t want to match! Thanks do much for posting the FAQ on adding it. One suggestion, add the time spent working on it to the page. It took me 2 hrs, which includes painting. If you plan correctly, you can be waiting for the paint to dry on one piece, while you are cutting the mesh or plastic slats from the existing grill. Here is the link to the page...
I recommed it to all Saab owners! Color coding it to your paint job looks awesome. (I have no chrome on the windows etc. so it now matches the rest of the car. The nest step is to elimite the little white/chrome strip on the trim/bumper. Any takers?
