RuMbLiNg sound from manual transmission....throwout bearing?

I posted this yesterday...
"I was pulling into my garage last night when I noticed a rattling sound when I would ease off the clutch into 1st. It doesn't seem to do it w/ 2nd
gear. My gears don't pop out at all. Is it possible to just replace
the 1st gear? I'm guessing now would be a good time to change the fluid."
I wanted to add to this. Upon further inspection, the sound occurs in all gears. It's even audible while slightly revving the engine in neutral. The car accelerates smoothly and shifts fine into all gears. I can't detect any slipping of the clutch. I tried looking up other info as to what could be the problem. I read that this noise can be caused by a worn throwout bearing. I don't know much about tranmissions and would be willing go give serious thought to doing the work myself if it isn't too difficult. Do any of my fellow Saabers have any experience with this? About how much would a new clutch and bearing run me? Also, are there any other methods to go about troubleshooting? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
