First, there is a better correlation between maintenance and reliability than mileage and reliability. You are looking at a 10+ yr old car. Low miles is still 10 yrs of dry rot (or oil soak) on all things rubber. If the car drives good with smooth shifting, does not pop out of reverse, does not smoke, runs smoothly and LOOKS to be in good shape, I feel it would be a good car. Also look for vibration under acceleration which may be an inner driver problem.
second, get the turbo. Did I mention that you should get the turbo? OH, yes, get the turbo. It is not a trouble item since the water cooled variety came along.
third, 91-93 have ABS, airbag, headlight wipers on all (AFAIK). 90 have ABS, I think. It is worth it to get ABS for sure. SRS may cost a little to keep the damn light from blinking, but it is not too bad.
Are you handy with auto repairs? If so, these are easy to work on and there is a TON of help from this BB and other sources. It will be expensive to keep a 10+ yr old car (of any make) on the road if the dealer is relied on to fix everything that goes wrong.
