This morning at 5.15 the police called and told me that they had just arrested a guy who had tried to break in to my car and steal it. Just pure luck prevented it from happening, because a patrol car spotted him "in action" so to speak.
I now have a problem. The thief managed to rip off the plastic cover under the shiftstick (where the keyhole are). I guess he wanted to cut the wires to the ignition and start it that way. Well..he didnt go that far...but he managed to cut most of the wires. Other than that the cars is untouched as far as I can see.
So now i have 6 wires and 6 contacts to put them in. And i dont know how to put them in the right order.
The wires are:
Brown/White
Yellow
Green/white
Grey
Red
Grey/White
And where the cables should be attached looks like:
I,-,/,\ marking where the contacts are
xxxxxx
xx - xx
x \ x
x I / x
x x
x / / x
x x
xx xx
xxxxxx
Anyone out there who have experience with this?
regards
Johan
