I made a toolbox about 10 yrs ago out of plywood and it fits with plenty of room to spare on the RHS under the cover in the rear. I carry bondhus ball driver set (hex) 1.5mm-10mm, multi bit torx screwdriver t8-t30, torx bits for 3/8" drive ratchet t25-t40, Set of 3/8 driver deep wells 9mm-18mm, set of 3/8" drive short sockets 10mm-19mm, philips #1, #2, 1/4 drive ratchet and socket set, spark plug socket, spark plug gapper, 6" 3/8 drive ratchet, 8" 3/8 drive breaker bar. I pack my 1/2" drive stuff, wrapped in a towel, when I take a trip. I bring a short socket set (10mm (way too small!) - 21mm and 31mm, 12" ratchet and 18" breaker bar. You should not EVER need a 1/2" breaker bar for anything less than a 14mm hex (10mm bolt)I rarely need anything else. If I do, I add it to the set. I may have to bulld a new box, though, if it gets any larger. I generally use the 1/4" drive set for most stuff and break them lose with the 3/8 if they are tight. I always pack an antisieze crayon and use it on all threads when I take them apart. Steel bolts into aluminum can corrode in place and this helps. Remember that you are tightening into aluminum and it does not take a ton to hold it.
