I found Roland through the mechanic list on this site. He is an 'independant mechanic' who works only on saabs it seems and shares the garage he works in with other mechanics. I took my 92 900 convertible to him as soon as I got it for a major service a few months ago (I had no history on the car) and was pleased with the results. I will go back to him. His prices seem reasonable and consistent with various estimates I have seen and he is professional. He is on the younger side, but you gotta start somewhere. If I remeber correctly from an earlier post, he worked for and was trained by a saab specialist who moved south of NY. He seems to be very well versed in all the basic saab issues. Does anyone else have any feedback or experiences?
