Im not the best mechanic, nor am i even a close tenth, but i try. Replaced seat grid- then tried to put drivers seat back in- stripped left side threads where bolt goes into the floor. Used some washers, thought I had it in, then last night, BOOM, bolt gave out and seat popped out, then stripped out right side threads. So now, cant get seat in, cant drive it to get seat put in.
The bolt threads into some flimsy looking aluminum nut bonded on the underside of the floor pan. Would a tap and die fix my problem, or does anyone have better solution???
