There are filters that you can put in line to the speakers but if your running a wire from the battery then you probably have an amp. If this is the case when you ran the power wire did you run the signal wires on the same side of the car. This will give you "alternator whine" The power wire is creating a magneting field that the signal wires are picking up. to eliminate this the best thing is to rerun the signal wire on the other side of the car. If this is an impossiblity then have the signal and power wire cross each other at right angles to help eliminate this. Again the best way is to have the wires on different sides of the car. Hope this helps.
