I went to a Pick-N-Pull this weekend and grabbed an instrument cluster to take apart to think of some ideas. Well, I noticed that on the greenish-hued plastic filters for the lights that shine on the gauges, the green was flecking off a bit on the edges. So after briefly rubbing a little nail polish remover on it, all the green dye was gone. I'm sure others have figured this out by now. So now I'm wondering...do they make blue bulbs that can replace the white ones or is there some way to re-dye the edges of that plastic filter blue? I'd love to have all the lights in my car be blue rather than green and I heard that this was the most difficult place where to accomplish such a feat. Please let me know what ideas are floating out there. TIA!
