Had my oil changed (at Mavis Discount Tire), and they put in the wrong drain plug gasket, which lead to a large puddle of oil under the car. Had a "proper mechanic" put in the proper copper crush gasket (+ 4 more quarts), and the damn thing still leaks! It's a smaller puddle, but still a persistent drip. Should the face of the bolt be flush w/ the pan? It's not (that's the source of the leak). I tried to tighten it, but only stripped the bolt-head. Will have to wait at least till monday to have the plug replaced. Do I just keep filling it w/ oil and leaving a trail? Thanks.
