This is my first message so please excuse any hacks.
I have a piston scoring problem in one cylinder and have purchased (or am considering purchasing a short block). Can I remove the old block/trany from the top of the vehicle? Or must I remove the engine and trany as stated in the children's (sorry - Chilton's) manual. Please help me!
Jeff
