Connect a 300 PSI presure gauge to the port on the right front side of the tranny. Set the cable so the pressure just starts to increase at the same time the throttle is cracked open. At warm idle with a properly set cable the pressure should be 60 - 70 psi and will not go lower if the cable is loosened.
